Triumph TR3A 1958
For sale this beautiful Triumph TR3a, in the colour “Salvador Blue” with an “Black” interior.
Its predecessor was the Triumph TR3, the first production car with front disc brakes. The biggest change they made on the TR3a was the wider front grill and door handles were fitted. In total 58.309 Triumph TR3a’s where build in the period 1957 -1962. Due the development of the TR models, the TR3a is a very reliable sports car. His 1991 cc Engine produce 100 bhp which makes this a real no nonsense British sports car.
A complete body off restoration started in 2010. All chassis parts where overhauled and parts where bought new. The body was completely stripped and the sheet metal was repaired. Thereafter the body was painted in Salvador Blue. Engine and gearbox where completely overhauled. New carpets and interior panels where placed. Seats where re-upholstered in black with a white pipping.
After the restoration was finished it received its Dutch license in February 2012. After thereafter TR3a is well maintained and used on a regular basis. If you want further information don’t hesitate to contact us.
