Triumph TR4 (1963)

Triumph TR4 (1963)

In July 1961 the first Triumph TR4 was built, as the successor of the successful Triumph TR3 models. This specific example is delivered in 1963. Executed in the most desirable colour combination. British racing green with an beige/tan interior and green piping.
An A-type overdrive and chrome wire wheels makes it complete.

This TR4 was registered in the Netherlands in 1969 after it was imported from Italie where it was sold new. In 1980 it was bought by the current owners, so it is in the same family for over 40 years!

During the complete body off restoration various improvements were made to the car to improve the reliability. Below a list of all the improvements:

– Brake booster
– Wooden dash
– 123 Ignition
– Electric fuel pump
– Additional electric cooling fan
– Tripmaster (speedpilot)

It’s always stored dry and very well maintained. The Triumph comes with a full and half tonneau. And it’s currently registered in The Netherlands.
